The place where our home now stands has a rich and remarkable history. Once, it was the workers’ canteen of the former Taião tungsten mines, dating back to 1956 according to official documents. A place filled with life and memories, where every stone tells a story.
We decided to restore it with the utmost respect for its past, while embracing a vision for the future. Fagundes Villagewas thus born as a distinctive rural tourism retreat, where every detail has been carefully considered to provide a truly unique experience.
The décor combines natural materials with contemporary lines, creating a chic, warm and sophisticated atmosphere. It features 4 bedrooms, including 3 bedrooms with double beds — one of them en-suite — and 1 bedroom with a single bed, ensuring comfort and privacy for everyone. There are also 4 bathrooms, two with showers and two with whirlpool baths.
For a truly complete stay, you will find a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, as well as a practical laundry area with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
And because leisure is also part of a holiday, Fagundes Village offers a pool table, sauna, jacuzzi and heated swimming pool, allowing you to enjoy the outdoor spaces and moments of relaxation even during the coldest winter months.
